title : What Goes Around Just Comes Around
"How've you been? Can I come in? Just came to get my things and now I guess I'm leaving."

If you've never seen a young boy, full of hopes, painting his dreams on canvas, suddenly have his artpiece torn and torn down in flames, seeing his hopes shatter behind that smile he's trying to pull, his his dreams crumble and torn down behind his eyes, this is it.

Just a young boy, his mind strewn by alcohol, on his way to getting lost in a midst of blocks he finds himself unfamiliar with. Maybe it's just the vodka, he thinks, maybe it's playing games with my mind, but as the saying goes, a drunk mind speaks a sober heart.

He doesn't find himself unloved, for he found love in a hopeless place. He doesn't find himself neglected, for loneliness was once his best friend who betrayed him. He doesn't find himself meaningless for deep within him he found purpose in his sorry being. He never really knew what he felt, so he doesn't really know what to say when people ask him about it. Most of the time he felt fine, really.

But this boy was a dreamer, he built castles in the air above his head and only added bits and pieces to it every day. His reality is in his dreams, they say. While his dreams were built upon the dare and gamble, the thrill of of risk and the typical teenage boy fantasies, for most of the time they ended on a peak with a fairytale happily ever after. His reality though, stumbles on the rocky terrains of parents he tried to please but could never agree with, a circle of friends which he felt increasingly distant to, and a life he could never begin to comprehend. He shares this reality with another just like him, someone he felt as lucky as he was happy to be a part of. She was a dreamer and though in different ways they dreamt, he loved her in a way he never knew even in his imagination.

They were feelings he was unfamiliar with, feelings he wasn't sure of yet he was certain of. Here was someone whose feelings he cared for, someone he missed dearly though he's not sure why, someone who had the power to hurt him and break him, yet he trusted with his very being to protect his happiness. Sure they were young, sure they may be dreamers and nothing more, but in their castle of fantasies try were invincible as long as they had each other.

The initial purpose of this post was to vent out this young boy's exhasperation at what has happened in his life, but over a long bus ride, as with any other fine day, his fellow dreamer told him everything was going to be okay. And it was.

Sabrina, I love you.
