title : We'll Throw It All Away
I don't get it. How can one generation view us as so damned screwed up when they obviously haven't looked in a mirror since the time when they all grew up. Its like all of you had had this freedom of choice when you all were young, and now you don't want us to taste the same freedom again. You say its because you don't want us making the same mistakes the freedom had cost you. But then what. Maybe now you can say that, but what about when WE have kids? "oh don't go out because i don't want you to make the same mistakes that freedom had cost your grandparents?" what about when THEY have kids?? COME ON. OPEN YOUR EYES. what do you want us to be? PERFECT? its as if you all feel like you're the noble batch of people who experimented with freedom, found out what's worth it and what's not, and now that you all know it, you're just gonna tell us so we won't make the same mistakes and thus lead a "better life". bullshit. we don't want to be perfect; we don't want to lead the perfect life you all dream of seeing us leading. we want to make mistakes, experiment and find out for ourselves what's right and wrong. we know there are consequences if we make mistakes, but hey, its our life right? from there we learn.
yes, i do find it a lot easier to blog about this kind of things rather than things which make me happy, because well, i have a lot more things to say about this, and its way easier to put into words. Initially, i wanted to blog about today, about making out with my girlfriend in a disabled washroom, and continue my post about trololol sports hall. but yeah as i said ah, it's hard to put such feelings into words so maybe i'll post later on. right now, i think sabby's a bit upset about finding out that well, generally guys don't like it when their girlfriends talk about their exes, and well, she's been talking about him quite a bit. i think the only reason i find it a bit jealousy-inducing is because i've read her livejournal and seen what she says about him and stuff, and though i know some parts are sugar coated cos he checks her blogs. so when she mentions some stuff i tend to get jealous over how much freedom they had to do stuff, how much better it seemed, much less restrictions and things to hide. i'm really fine with her talking about her past relationships to me, i mean, its like talking about about her past anyway, and i want her to be able to trust me with that as much as i hoped she'd be comfortable with mine. its just this jealousy that sometimes pops out, and, well, i can deal with it la actually, nothing major, maybe at first got a little uncomfortable-ness but after a while i'll be okay. Because i know she loves me. And i want her to be able to share these things with me. I may have been in the wrong for being jealous, but i know that now, and i won't repeat the same mistake again. i just wish that we had more freedom. more time to ourselves to develop our social, emotional and personal lives, not being controlled by someone else. i wish, that in this era where they encourage people to be true to themselves and live life to the fullest, that 'they'll' be true to their words. No judgement. No restrictions. Sabrina, if you read this, i love you very much. Please forgive me if i was being unreasonable to you. |
