title : SPECS RESULTS
 On a separate note, i shall post this up just for memories' sake (: SPECIALISTS COURSE 2011 EAST DISTRICT PHASE 2 Course best : Louise Company best: Le Yin Platoon best: Yu Hua Platoon best: Yunshan IFC Best: Geyu GSK Best: Louise Even though we heard that Louise got best for trainfire as well, but they gave someone else the award cos she already has 2. why am i so happy about it? cos firstly, its EAST district, and we're central, and theres this thing about central and east people not liking each other. So technically we shouldn't have gotten so many awards. By right, on the first day, the DC made the decision that course best can only go to an East cadet. and traditionally, HQ only gives out one award per person. so this means that: 1. Central cadets sweeping awards in an East course is a big thing 2. A Central cadet getting Course Best probably means that the second place was either a central cadet OR has marks pretty far away from the first position, thus they cant let the person get the award instead 3. Full platoon 2SG rank which is pretty good 4. 5/7 of them getting awards which is a high majority 5. One of them getting a DOUBLE award, which rarely happens 6. The person who got double award was supposed to get TRIPLE award 7. Which means we owned the entire course (all 3 tests) But what i didnt particularly appreciate (okay not only me, all 3 of us) was what they showed after being dismissed. we get that they were happy. but they didnt have to jump around squealing like a bunch of little girls RIGHT in front of everyone, INCLUDING people who didn't get the rank, for god's sake there was a guy crying right there. and think of it this way. what if THEY didn't attend the course, maybe there was a chance that guy could have gotten his rank. sure, you were pissed off that we looked so disappointed and didn't congratulate you or anything. YOU said that the reason you guys didnt come up to us first thing was because you were waiting for one of you who hasn't been dismissed yet. Well, maybe we were doing that too. How would YOU know? no. we weren't pissed cos you guys didn't do well or anything, cos truth be told, we ARE proud of you guys for coming so far. but seriously, celebrating how you snatched up someone else's awards? AND YES IT IS SNATCHING. IT WAS NEVER OURS TO BEGIN WITH. being happy at someone else's expense is not something we as NCOs can be proud of. you say we "laugh, sure not laughing at us, but what does it make us feel like? jokes. not just failures,but jokes" well maybe you'd like to think through your own actions before you comment. and whats more, its on fucking facebook. what is WRONG with you guys. sure, maybe we're the most terrible and pathetic NCOs you ever got but that doesn't mean we don't try. let me just say this, our platoon is (i wouldnt say more bonded cos that would be comparing and maybe your platoon is super bonded just that we don't see it) bonded such that we dont rely on others' love to be happy. our ncos have always told us "your seniors touch and go, but your platoonmates are there with you through the whole journey" what does this tell us? yeah there you are complaining about how we're such pathetic NCOs who "dont care about you all" and "dont even put in half the effort as your previous ncos" when HOW MUCH EFFORT ARE YOU SHOVELING UP FROM HELL TO IMPROVE YOUR OWN PLATOON!? ever heard of "how do you expect someone to love you if you don't love yourself?" if youre gonna tell me you do, let me ask you, do you love your platoonmates as individuals, or your platoon? think about it. not everything is gonna go the way you "expected", youre not gonna like everyone you work with, not everything will go the way you planned. no matter how much we try to help you all, the only ones who can truly help you is yourselves. because a platoon is only as strong as its weakest link, and if ONE person chooses not to cooperate (especially with your platoon so small), how the hell are you all gonna work with each other once we're gone. sure, your part b ncos may have been sent from heaven to you all, but theyre not always gonna be there. things get harder as they go along, but you'll just have to deal with it and not keep wishing that things will change for you. so instead of wasting your time ranting about the people you dont love who are trying their best for you and are gonna be gone soon anyway, why dont you use that energy and brain space to think about how you guys are gonna work together once we're gone? dont tell me, if someone laughs at your plan, youre just gonna throw a tantrum and insist that youre right all the time? its alot more work than you think. and judging by how you guys scream and slam the doors on each other, its clear that you guys arent showing each other respect at all. what is this gonna teach your juniors? that you can just walk out on each other just because you have different opinions? seriously, we care that you guys hate us, because youre the only part we get. just because we dont show it, doesnt mean we dont care. we get pissed with the things you do, because we want you to be better people, so you can show the world that you have substance on the inside and out. but if hating us is gonna make your situation better than so be it. not the whole world is about you. think about the big picture. |
